Eddie Kingston not taking any independent bookings for now

Eddie Kingston is the current ROH World Champion and the NJPW Strong Openweight Champion

Due to an injury, Eddie Kingston is currently taking a break from the independent scene.

Kingston recently won the ROH World Title and successfully retained the NJPW Strong Openweight Title, during an episode of AEW Dynamite.

He has made the decision not to accept any independent dates as a result, including his October 6th match against Bryan Keith at Warrior Wrestling.

Due to his championship obligations and his back injury, he made this choice.

Eddie Kingston sent out the following via social media:

“I love the Independents but times have changed. I am truly sorry for not being able to do them right now. But I am truly no bullshit trying to be the best Champion for both NJPW strong and ROH and must put that above anything else right now. This sucks.”
